Can anyone tell me the pro's , con's on a llama .45
A guy at work has one. He was thinking of selling it. Chrome it looks like. Wondering about their quality either way. Maybe get an idea on it's worth.
I have a Springfield Loaded so I told the guy I didn't really need his. His looks to be in good shape. But I know zero about them.
Any help , thanks.

Thanks man.
They're like the Lorcins of 1911s.
Pro = No
Con = Conned!
Don't do it, as it is not a 1911 (parts don't interchange)
MING the Merciless
Llama's are pure crap, out of business and near impossible to acquire parts for.
Pro = really cheap, very affordable
Con = really cheap, quality sucks
If you already have a Springfield 1911 then you will be greatly disappointed in a Llama.
They are not a good copy of the 1911, not the same specs, so parts will not interchange.
My Dad had a Llama 1911 when i was little, it actually worked fine for a while, but then the front sight fell off and the extractor fell off and it became a very inaccurate single shot pistol. Couldn't get replacement parts for it, so had to toss it.
You can't even throw them straight.
run the other way. Had a llama 45 about 8 years ago. It went back 3 times do to failure to feeds. They never fixed it right so I sold it cheap. JUNK PURE JUNK. I was younger and dumber at the time. Usually something is cheap for a reason.
Thanks a bunch guys. I will not be buying it. The thing did pattern, puked the first two rounds after hitting the chamber. GI mags worked a lot better.
But the shots were all over the place. 3 shooters.
The only thing it seems good for is a forehead press. Throw away. If It would only work. Biggest POS I ever shot, or tried to.
Thanks , I had to try it my self, and you folks were right.
