Add me to PM9 fan list
Took my new PM9 to the range today, for 200 round break in. No issues, Broke it in with Remington UMC, and lubed it pretty wet. Used 2 six round mags, and 3 seven round mags. Had to pull mags, no big deal. All mags fed well. A very sweet shooting accurate pistol at 15 yards. This is a tight weapon, and I can see it only getting better. I am used to large caliber handguns, and this is the first 9 I have owned. I have no complaints, and the ammo cost is not bad. I won't forsake my Sig P220, but this PM9 is a really good back up.
CDNN has 8 rd SS mags and free shipping through the weekend.
I have the original version, a P9.
CDNN is where I got my extra PM9 mags, 4th of July weekend. Same free shipping deal.
Even with paying TX tax, magazines are still cheaper than anywhere else I've found. At least for pistol mags.
Be aware that the recoil springs wear out quickly, I've had to replace mine (for $30!) before 1000rds fired.
The little PM9 was never ment to be a range day piece. It is what it is. One of the smallest and best shooting 9x19 pistols on the market bar none. It is made for and pulls off deep concealment like few other pistols can. I fire mine often enough to ensure reliability and then it's back in the holster she goes. If the weather/clothing precludes my using a full size pistol (my HK USP40, or USP9 preferred) it's the PM9 you'll find on my person. I have several really nice .380s that I've purchased over the years, but the Kahr has made them all but obsolete. I've been tempted to pick up the Kahr P380 as a true pocket pistol, but have yet to pull the trigger (pun intended). The PM9 is that good and it can be carried in the front pocket with the right holster. I still like it in an IWB just behind the hip. Enjoy your new pistol. Isn't the trigger just about the sweetest factory DAO ever made? I think so.
I love my PM9. It is an amazing little pistol. The Crimson Trace laser for it is first class too.
There is a nemesis pocket holster that fits the PM9 with the Crimson Trace Laser. Perfect
carry piece.
I'm a Sig P220 fan. My brother had me try his new PM9 at the range during his last visit. Figured between the small size, short sight radius and trigger pull, be lucky to put all shots on paper.
I'd say about a 1" group at 15yds is pretty damn good. Wouldn't mind getting one myself.
