New owner of a CW9
Just purchased a CW9 after reading reviews, both good and bad of course, for weeks. I hope she's a keeper. Waiting on delivery to my FFL so I won't know until next week. I hope it works as advertised...
I had two of them, they both worked fine. These days I have a pm9 instead. Just shoot 200 rounds or so to allow proper break in. Mine preferred 115 to 124 grain loads.
You'll like it but the trigger pull takes some getting used to. After shooting my g19 so much it kills my finger.
Yes, was aware of the trigger pull before the purchase. My buddies old CZ 100 had the worst trigger pull so I'm not completley unaware of long pulls. Guess it won't pass in a timed empty the clip competition. Kind of excitted to dive into the Kahr world though. Gotta start somewhere.
New owner here as well went to the range this morning very aprehensive as to the recoil in this lite of a weapon I put 70 rounds win. white box
115 round nose down range and not one ff or fte really surprised me it was very pleasent to shoot while not a target gun but a humdinger for ccw this one is a keeper ....now wonder how that PM9 feels mummmmm or maybe new CM9
Hope you like yours as well
Wow, talk about one range session for the break-in. As expected, my hands are cheese graded but have a solution to that in the mail. Obviously I don't plan on sending 200 rounds down range on a regular basis so not too concerned. Yep, truly not a target pistol but on the last box of 50 I was finally grappling the torque on the wrist equaling straighter shots. A little more practice and I don't see the trigger pull and decent recoil being much of a problem.
Overall for $350.00 to dive into the world of Kahr I'm pleased. Let me just wrap that grip up and I'll be set. Good pickup for what it's made for. Thanks guys for the input and good luck mogdude on the pickup as well.
