FTF in my CW 9
I have owned and shot a CW9 for quite some time and it has been a very relaible pistol and had my complete faith and trust. Even during the break in period, i never experienced on failure of any type.
Yesterday, I was Shooting Defensive Research Tech, ammo in the 85 gr wieght. I have fired about 50 roudns of this ammo with never an issue and I considered carrying in the the CW9 as a CCW round because of low signature and light recoil.
I could not beleive it but I had a failure to feed with one round. It was a stovepipe and I was totally amazed. I only had size rounds of the DRT ammo and It was a long way from home to the range, but I plan on going back tomorrow to fire some another 50 rounds or so to restore my faith in the ammo, pistol combo.
Has anyone had any other experience with the DRT ammoespecially in the 85gr weight bullets.
Just a follow up note. I took myCW9 to the range today, Same ammo, no problem. So I will attribute the malf to shooter error...
Limp wrist?

My Kahr p380 did this with one round of Priv I could tell when the round fired that it was under powered, so perhaps that was the issue with yours.
that could well be the case or limp wrist as well..I wZs jsut wondering if anyone has had experience with DRT ammo, especially in the 85 gr. 9mm rounds.
