Anybody ever have any issues with their triggers failing to reset when firing?

Reset issues indicate something more than just a minor problem. Failures to reset are a symptom of something really wrong.
People may suggest cleaning and lubing the gun and checking for debris in the action, but this is something you need to get fixed properly.
The risk of a failure in a defense gun is much more serious than a possible problem in a range toy.

I'd return this to Kahr for a proper diagnose and repair.
If this is a newer gun, contact Kahr and ask for a return label, so they pay for shipping.

Exactly what I'm doing. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I haven't had this problem with my CW45, and I hope I never do. Best of luck!

Heard back from them today. They are in the process of issuing an RMA # and, hopefully, a UPS label.

They sent a FedEx label, and it's on the way back.

Got a call from Kahr Monday, and the gun will shortly be on the way back. They had to replace the trigger bar.

I have to admit that I am a touch disappointed by this. Like most everyone else around here, this is a defensive tool that must go "bang" when called upon, and this incident, along with reading of several others experiencing the same malfunction, doesn't give me a lot of faith in the pistol.

I just picked up a new Kahr CW45 on Saturday and went to the range Sunday. The manual recommends 200 rounds to break it in. I only had one box of Federals so break-in isn't complete. I did have 5 trigger reset problems in those 50 rounds. All were after the first round was fired. I removed the mag and emptied the chamber. replaced the round in the mags and all the rest fired just fine except one time it failed to reset on the next round also. On my very first mag, the magazine dropped out with the last round still in it. I'll wait till I put another 150 rds thru it before I call for service. I'm going to try different brands of ammo also.

Before I put anymore money through the gun, I'd call Kahr and see what they have to say.

Trigger reset is not an issue to be worked out in the break-in period.

I bought my CW9 used with about 400 rounds through it according to the seller. I had a similar problem where the trigger wouldn't reset. My interim solution was to let the trigger "pop" forward by sliding my finger off to the side after each shot, but of course that was a non-starter for carry.

Shoot Kahr an email or give them a call, I think my trigger bar or part of the return spring had to be replaced. Even though my gun is used, all I had to pay was shipping to them.

ETA: hurp durp, way to read the whole thread, Baker.

ETA2: Wow, seeing that this same thing has happened to so many people makes me suspicious that Kahr really needs to rethink something about their trigger assembly. Maybe they had a big bad batch of trigger bars or something.

Politely request a FedEx label...worked for me.

Have to send mine back. Second trip to the range today, mags fell out 5 or 6 times and trigger failed to reset more times than I can remember in just 6 mags.

Yeah, shipping on a gun is no small fee, $60 or $70. Pisses me off when they don't want to send you a label. Its the reason I probably won't be buying another Colt.

Got my CW45 back from the factory on Friday. Only eight days from the day I shipped it off and back in my hands. They replaced the trigger bar and mag catch. I went to the range today and did numerous mag dumps with a box of WWB. Trigger reset problem fixed!!!!!!! Quite happy with Kahr's customer service.

Mine's good to go as well, and I, too, was pleased with Kahr's CS.
