Springfield Custom
I was looking at the first XD package on the Custom worksheet. They call it the carry package. Anyone have it done? Looks like a good deal
Have a friend that has an XDM 3.8 that he sent back to the custom shop.
He had the trigger job done with the short reset, titanium firing pin and the night sights put on it and not sure what else.
The trigger and the gun is great.
It is a nice shooting gun but between gun, and mods he has well over $1,000 into it. If you want to put the money into it, you will be pleased with the results.
unless you have money to burn, i'd get the gun you want, develop a feel for it then have fun.
if after a while you still think you need to soup it up i'm sure any number of outlets will eb happy to take your money and do the job.
i gambled $125 iirc and got the drop in from prp. not only did it make a big improvement, i learned a whiole lot about my gun. in fact, a guy on xdtalk suggested it, along w/"you'll learn a lot about your gun!".
