Does Springfield still make the Professional Model?

Couldnt find it on the web site. Was wondering if Springfield still makes the Professional Model? Maybe under a different model name? Maybe in a Commander size

Yes––as far as I know. It's a little hard to find on the website. You have to look on the Custom Shop side of the site. I think lead time is well over a year, but folks still talk about placing orders. Several Gvmt agencies are now using, them includng apparently, special units of the USMC. Used examples are occasionally selling for significantly more than the current MSRP.

It's not on the basic Springfield site because its not a production line 1911. Its built completely at the Springfield Custom Shop. Download the Custom Shop Catalog and you'll see it.
