i see them somewhat regularly but have no interest in an lw anything.

I am watching Gunbroker, Guns America and the EE section. I passed one up on GB a couple of weeks ago for a really good price. Everyone else thinks their guns are gold. As far as the LW thing, I have the same gun in a 5" and shoot it just as good as my TRP. The LW being 10 ounces lighter makes for a nice carry gun.

That was my thinking when I bought mine as well but remember it is an Operator so you are going to have that rail on there. That rail is going to limit your holster options.
