left hand XD gear holster

Had a guy tell me today that springfield would send me a left hand version of the xd gear holster if I wanted one but I cant find any way to find out for sure. Anybody know if this is true and how to go about getting one?

Bought a 1911 with the right hand holster and called Springfield and told them just bought champion operator serial ######### and that I am left handed. The lady in CS took my info and 4 or 5 days later a left hand holster was in the mailbox. Also no charge for the left hand holster and kept the right hand as well. Give them a call

I called about the possibility of getting a lefty holster when I first purchased my XD9 , they couldn't have been better to deal with. I even called back with a question about finish wear I was getting on the top of the chamber/barrel , sent some pics in an email, they sent them to one of their guys in the shop and got back to me the same day. Excellent customer service. This is why my next pistol, a 1911, will be a Springfield.

Get a real holster man, those things are a good gimmick but they suck to actually carry with.
