Good brick and mortar price for new LCP?

What’s a good price for a Ruger LCP at an actual gunstore?

The one near me has it for $339 + tax. I’m all for paying a little extra to patronize the LGS, but if it’s $40-$50 higher, then no way.

I think I have seen them for less around here.

My father-in-law picked up the Crimson Trace model today for $410.19+tax and they would have ordered in a regular LCP for $280.48+tax. Multiple places here I could buy one for $299.99+tax so I wouldn't pay more than that. All prices are from regular gun stores.

If Bud's has them for $290 cash shipped, then $340 isn't terrible. Figure $10 for credit card use and another $20 for your FFL's transfer fee and you're at $320. How much is it worth to you to handle the exact gun you're going to get before you buy and to patronize the local guy? Of course, locally, you'll probably have sales tax.

You may have your heart set on the LCP, but consider the LC9. It's nearly as small as the LCP, but in 9mm. I saw one locally for $359.

I think the price may include tax since the gunshop has the same gun listed for $296 on their websight

If that’s not the case then maybe i’ll call them and ask how much it would be to ship it to themselves

I just picked one up at the local gunshow today for $248.00 + tax. Bought from a dealer NIB. You can find them for around $279 a lot of places though

FWIW, $250-$260 is current dealer cost on the LCP.

I thought the dealer cost was closer to $220.

A store around here is selling them for $265. I wouldn't pay more than $300 for one.

LOL, 30-50 more isn't a big deal. Think about it if you bought something on gunbroker, you'd have to pay shipping, often a $25 cost, plus an FFL transfer, which is usually above $25....So you'd pay $50 more anyways.....You should bump it up < $70 for a LGS
