LC9 night sights
Does anyone currently make tritium night sights for the LC9? Will SR9 sights fit?
I got to look at one of these guns at my local gunstore last week and overall they seem nice (except for that half mile long trigger pull), but I'm not willing to carry anything that doesn't have a tritium front sight.
And I've heard all the "no one uses sights in a defensive shooting" and the whole "just get a laser" arguments, so don't bother. I want a glowing green dot on my nightstand to tell me exactly where my gun is and a glowing green dot to tell me I'm on target.
XS makes a big dot for it. It's not on the site yet but is available if you call.

Can the XS front be used with a standard rear?
No...it sits enough higher that it would be off.
Rats.
Has anyone tried the XS night sight set on the LC9 yet?
Are they extremely high, and snag prone?
Pics of installed sights would be cool, or a field report.
Thanks.

Apparently NOVAK's makes a tritium illuminated front sight for the LC9.
Ordered one today.

I see an LCR and an SR9, but no LC9. Am I missing something?
I called NOVAK on the phone, they said they had tritium front sight for LC9, and would ship immediate.
I will report back when I receive the sight.
Excellent! How much were they?
LC9 has NOVAK tritium front sight installed.
Shipped out promptly, Dont remember the price, it was reasonable though.
nice bright green dot, tapped right in the factory dovetail, used a dab of green loctite "sleevelocker", just to make sure.
a noticeable bit brighter than the 5 year old trijicon on Glock36.
the Novak front sigt is .028" shorter than stock LC9 sight,
expect it might shoot a scosch higher, havent shot paper yet.
(I recall it was hitting a slight bit low from the factory)
................... I will report back after target work.
Novak tritium (front) sight installed on LC9.
shoots point of aim at 15 yards.
I am very pleased.
Ran a bunch of 147 grain hornaday, and a few 147 grain Winchester bonded JHP's, and a full box of 115 fmj Amercican Eagles, through several magazines.
So far, the LC9 has fed and functioned perfectly, 100% reliability.
Would you mind posting a pic of it?
