SR9 magazine price ..... OUCH
I will be receiving an SR9 pistol soon. The gun comes with 2 17-rd mags. I then looked for mag prices since I like to have at least 5 mags per pistol. OMG ... this thing is very expensive!! Retail price is around $40. Even a dealer price from MidwayUSA is still at $32.50 .... WTH??
What is a good place to buy SR9 mags with best pricing? Is there any good after-market mags for SR9? Like Mec-Gars perhaps?

I haven't used them yet, but they seam well made.
Honestly though, all pistol mags except for Glock, Ruger P series, and M9/92 are crazy expensive.

It is expensive to me, considering I am used to the Glock, XD, and even some Mec-Gars for CZ75 and BHP costing around 20 bucks a pop.
Just keep an eye on the EE here and on other gun forums. I have found and purchased a half-dozen SR9 mags through online forums in the $20 range.
Don't ever buy an Hk45 or Sig.
Pricey, but not totally out of line if the factory mags are well-made and reliable. And with the gun being a new offering, it's doubful you're going to find any alternatives.
Some of the OEM mags for other pistols are much more expensive.
