Adjusting rear sight
Bought a Kimber Pro and It shoots left @ 7yards. Is it easier to move the front sight or rear sight for the adjustment. the rear sight is dead nut center on the rear. I tried a hand full of ammo from the bench & all shoot good groups but left about 2"
Thanks.
I doubt you will be able to move the rear sight at all. I've had night sights installed on two different Kimbers and had to send the slides in to the factory. The rear sight was in so tight that two different area gunsmiths could not get them to budge.
Dont move the front sight. I bought a sight pusher for mine because the rear sight was so damn tight.
Drifting the rear sight is fairly easy, you just need a big brass punch and a biggass hammer.
Thanks guys. The brass punch & a BFH did the job.
