I ordered Kensight adjustable night sights for my 1911 but when they came in its easy to see that they are much longer than the sights that are on there now. Something has changed with the kimber rear cut. any ideas guys??

thanks Slug-O

Your Kimber has a fixed sight cut

I don't know if it makes any difference or not, but it specifies on the package that it's for Kimbers with "factory adjustable sights". They also seem to produce this , which is listed for kimbers with " factory fixed sights".

Just guessing here, but are the factory adjustable slides cut different???

Unless you want to mill the slide to accept the sight you've purchased you need to return it and get the sight telephoneman linked.
