I shot my new Special Edition Ultra Carry II today for the first time. The only .45 I have owned was a Glock 30. Let me tell you the difference was night and day. I got the UC II because I wanted it as a main carry gun so I wanted a 3" barrel. This thing was like shooting a stick of butter, if that makes sense. It was way more accurate than I thought it would be and I didn't have one FTF or FTE using PMC 230 gr. ball ammo. Love this gun!!!!

I've found the UC II to be very reliable, easy to carry and easy to shoot as accurately as my 5" Government sized 1911s. I shoot nothing but 230gr. ammo in all of my 1911s and the UC II has only a small amount of added recoil over the big guys. Oh, BTW Congrats!

You forgot to post pictures of your new pistol!

Thanks for doin the work for me!!

The 1911 is the King Of The Hill for me. Very easy to hold and shoot. My Glock is okay but I cannot shoot it as accurately as I can my Kimbers.
Here's my Ultra Raptor II, which has now become my primary CCW piece.
