Ive never owned a 1911 before, and heard there were some issues with 3" bbls. Are there any issues with the Compact Stainless II model? Its the 4" model so I havent heard any issues yet. My goal is to trade it for a fullsize eventually so I wont be using it much.
Well i got it, it is the Compact aluminum stainless. Great gun. The trigger pull is AMAZING compared to my Glock 21.
Is there any issues that i should know about?

Mine is excellent. It's a Series I. The factory recoil spring is crap (weak); IMO replace with Wollf ASAP. The steel frame is discontinued; it now comes with an aluminum frame. Why not just get the full size you really want? I think the 5" bushing 1911 is a better 1911 to wean on.
