still looking for a good holster??
I have and ultra cc and still havent found a holster i like. anyone have any ideas. i would like to get a center of back holster, but am open to any opinions. used for concealed carry only
don't get a small of back holster. if you are ever get knocked down on your back you could seriously hurt yourself. you don't want a piece of metal that close to your spine. not to mention its hard to get to if you ever need it. get a holster and put it on your weapon side. there are many good holster out there. for a inside the waist band look at CompTac's MTAC and Crossbreed's Super Tuck. For out side the waist band look at Raven, I know there is a crazy wait now for the Raven but it is worth it. Just so you know there is a separate forum labeled "carry issues" you will get more answers and info than you will need. Also get a good gun belt to go with the holster, it will make a world of differance.
I carry this;
In a Raven LC Holster (sorry for the small pic)
Raven is a great holster I have had mine for about 2.5 yrs. They are G2G.

I've been using the same DeSantis Scorpion to carry alternately either my Desert Warrior or my New Agent, for 5 years now. I've had one belt clip crack in that time, and no other problems. I carry just behind the point of my right hip, and the grip stays snug to my body. I can even sit comfortably in the truck's bucket seat, although the 5" isn't as comfortable because of the added weight and length, as the muzzle is trapped between my butt cheek and the seat cushion.

Not to get off topic, but Xcoastie What kind of grips are the 10-8?
OP I carry my super carry pro in a VM2 by MIlt Sparks, I also carry my G27 in a DMBullard Dual carry with tuckable straps.

It looks quite different now. I've "combat cut" it, trimmed the excess leather, put leather treatment on it to stop sqeaking and worn it a whole lot. No new pics, though. Also have a BT Nano for summer and gaming.
Have a drawer full. Finally found Tucher Leather and ordered custom HF 1 to spec, worth the wait, 12 months though. While waiting I ordered there Silent Thunder, delivery 2 weeks. Wanted something while I waited. Not fond of Kydex holsters at all,and expected to add it to my drawer, BUT its leather lined and the most comfortable holster along with being my favorite that I own. I carry 1911 fullsize at about 4:00 position. Honestly Now there are times I forget I am carrying it. In and out of my truck no problem. Slips out of my jeans like I want it to, without removing my belt, in the evening at bed time. TIP––Invest in quality gun belt right now. I use my Tucker belt and mag holder, then slip in the Silent Thinder IWB. Its quiet, yet retains pistol perfect. KEY to IWB carry is definately my belt. You dont need a drawer full like I have, just learn from someone that does.

I use a Blade Tech In The Waistband Holster and like it a lot. Never thought I would like a INTWB holster but after I tried it I like it a lot. What I like most is with just a T-shirt on you can't see that I'm carrying. It is difficult to have one holster do it all, for me the Blade Tech comes close. MC
I run a Comptac Minotaur MTAC holster and it's probably the most comfortable holster I've worn concealed.
Milt Sparks VM-2 is my choice. Very comfortable and can be worn all day with no issues.

Galco Concealable and the Summer Comfort for IWB.
Been using these Galco products since they came out and both are outstanding concealment holsters
About 2 months ago I went with a Supertuck from Crossbreed holsters and it is awesome! I can carry my Ultra or my 5" 1911 in the same holster. I can tuck my shirt in or leave it out. It spreads the weight well so it's comfortable all day. I chose the horsehide and mixed the clips. In the front I uses the standard over the belt clip and in the back I use the under the belt plastic J hook. The over the belt clips are metal and you don't want the back one to scatch your leather seats. I wear it every day and recommend it.

I love mine! I use it for my full size Kimber, and one for my M&Ps.
