Finally picked up my first 1911.

Picked this up on the 22nd of December as a birthday/Christmas gift for myself. So far I've got around 300+ rounds through it and I installed some CT laser grips.

Nice pistol. I have a Raptor Pro II and a Tactical Ultra II, both have been flawless. I carry the Ultra daily, you'll like the Ultra TLE.

Very nice. I got an Eclipse Pro II as my first 1911 and I love it, so much that I'm getting a Warrior very soon. And I'm a former Glock only guy.

How's the accuracy? I remember mine being as accurate and only having slightly more felt recoil than my 5" 1911s. It was 100% reliable......I should of never sold it....

Great choice! I'm going to get another Ultra soon. Lightweight, accurate and reliable from a 3" 1911 as good as my 5" 1911s is a hands down winner in my book. Get yourself an extra set of recoil springs from Wolff since these little guns require they be changed more frequently than the larger models.

I recently picked up my first 1911 as well for myself this past Christmas. The feel of the gun and rich history of reliability won me over from jump street. Has anyone heard or had experience with NP3 coating systems? I wanted something besides the bluing and more corrosion resistance as well but I do not want to parkerize the weapon. Any suggestions?
