Need help deciding between a glock or baby eagle at next gun show. Deciding factor will be durability of beagles.

I have a "beagle". It rusts. Get the GLOCK.

I have a 9mm full sized baby eagle I got 6 years ago stamped magnum research. Never had a single malfunction. Shoots the same as the day I got it. One of my favorite guns.

my 9mm full size has been excellent. I've had it for about five years and it runs great and is accurate. The only problem it ever has had was when inexperienced shooters tried to shoot it and limpwristed it. It is a smooth, soft shooting 9mm and is very easy to shoot accurately. With the proper care, it won't rust, but it doesn't come with the sort of wonderfinish that they put on glocks. It has a better trigger than any unmodified glock, but where periperals are concerned, the glock has the edge. Spare mags, aftermarket sights, holsters, etc, are hard to locate for the BE by comparison to the glock.

If you wan't the well known, cookie cutter, easy to find mags/holsters for gun. The baby eagle is a high quality clone of the CZ75 with great ergonomics and is the standard side arm of the IDF. If you want a gun for carry, a glock 19 is a great choice. If you want a combat tested, all steel 9mm, get a Baby Eagle or a CZ.

I've had my full size 9mm BE for about 9 years now and couldn't be happier with it. I also have a G19 that hasn't given me any issues.

If I had to choose between the two, I'd keep my BE. I am more accurate with it.

The GLOCK has it advantages such as availabilty of parts/mags/etc, but I have shot thousands of rounds through my BE without a problem and no sign of excessive wear.

IMO, get both! All things considered, one will surely fit your needs better than the other and only hits count.

Baby Eagle over Glock for me. It's heavier, steel, doesn't have that trigger safety (no offense if you like it, I don't.).
It also feels better in my hands. I never really liked the way Glocks feel. Too square for my hands.
