need a little help from Baby DE owners...
I've been in the market for a baby eagle, full size, all steel, 40 s&w. I found one recently for sale, but I'm wondering if it's an "older" one...It has, on the left side of the slide in large engraving...UZI EAGLE... the "40 s&w" is on the right side of the barrel chamber, other than that, it has ambidex safety/decocking and all else appears as the newer versions...anybody have info on this gun?
I can't remember exactly, but I believe that the UZI Eagle was imported by Mossberg. Then IMI changed importers, and Magnum Research called it the Baby Eagle. Short story, it's exactly the same aside from the markings. I don't really care for the UZI Eagle marking because most of them are large and white.
