(When I get mine back from MR, I will add an image of my gun and handloads.)
Nice, I've never shot one. Is it gtg out of a .50AE eagle?
You need a .440 barrel (or .44mag barrel converted to .440 which is what I did) and a .50AE mag. It sends a 200gr .429 caliber Barnes-X solid copper hand-load downrange in excess of 2K FPS for over 2K ft/lbs of energy using H110 powder (35.5gr charge). It's a handfull to say the least

Great hunting round and it shoots flat as hell (can hit gong's at 200 yards all day). My favorite gun/caliber combo of my collection.
That is awesome, gotta look more into that. How much extra does the whole conversion run?
You have to buy a chamber reamer and use that to cut the chamber for the larger round. Then you just need a .50ae mag for the larger rounds and you are good to go. The reamers and dies are expensive but they are out there:

You will need to reload for that caliber unless you want to spend ~$3.50/round from cor-bon (only factory ammo avalible, over $65 a box of 20):

Man iv'e ben wanting a 440 barrel for a long time now. iv'e got a 10" 50 ae and a 6" 44 mag barrel for my model 19. do you have a reamer or did you rent one?
I have a reamer. IM sent.
Went to magnum research website, looks like next fall before they go back into production on 44 barrels. Oh well, just my luck.
