I know the USBP uses P2000's with the LEM trigger. Was wondering if it can be put on a USP?

The LEM was designed on the USP. My USP40f came from the factory with LEM, and it is over 10 yeas old.

Does it have to come on the gun from the factory or can it be ordered seperately and then installed?

You can order the parts and install yourself, or send it to HK and they will install for you (for a fee, of course).

Or find a local H&K armorer and have them install it which is the path I took. Look for a local H&K law enforcement dealer, bonus they also stock the LEM parts.

It's not all that hard to install the LEM kit, if you're reasonably mechanically inclined and can follow directions.

Worst case? You end up shipping a bag of parts to H&K for "fixin'".
