New to HK's, question about seeing brass when gun is loaded.
So I got a full size USP 40 for Christmas and I have what may be a silly question. When I chamber a round, I can actually see the brass casing when looking at the side of the gun. There's apparently a small gap between the slide and chamber. Everything else seems normal. The slide and barrel can't fit any closer. Normal? I've never seen this on my glock or XD.
I have a fullsize USP 9mm and when the slide is fully forward (looking at it from the side) there is a very small gap.
Normal.
I'm glad its normal, still kinda wierds me out looking at it.
While not an H&K, I can see the brass of a loaded round in my Glock 20.
normal on most guns
