Adjustable rear sight for a USPf 40?
I started shooting in Steel Challenge matches last month. I was considering buying a M&P9 Pro to use, but I can't bring myself to get rid of my USPf 40 to make room for it. I've decided to just use the USP. My main issue with it is that I don't shoot it very well. It has factory night sights (Mepros) and I use the dead on hold, but it still hits about 4-6" low at 10 yards. I have to aim high which pretty much covers up the target. I'm hoping that new sights can remedy this situation. I'd like to keep the tritium front sight but would like an all black adjustable rear (I hate 3-dot sights). The only thing that I can find are LPA sets that include a black blade front sight with the adjustable rear. Could I use the LPA rear with the Mepro front sight, or do I have to use the front that comes with the set? What other options exist?
Well I couldn't find what I really wanted, but I found a great deal on a set of Heinie Straight 8's. I have always liked these sights, so they should be an upgrade over the 3-dot Mepros.
