and all I can say is WOW! I should have done this a long time ago. It is currently at the "light" LEM spec using my original trigger return spring and firing pin block spring from my AE date code USP. The only thing that threw me off was that the instructions found on the web tell you to discard your Sear Complete. The latest iterations of the LEM conversion kits do not include a Sear Complete part and you should use the one that is in your pistol.

I just bought a P2000 with light LEM. I absolutely love it.

I will not buy another HK that is not set up that way.

Did you get a new catch? AE (2004) is the old style and you need the new style catch. My parts to convert a AE USP should be here soon and I also have the new style catch comming with the LEM parts.

HK part #

Ident-no. 219442 1
CATCH, LEM PC /
UPC no. 642230173040

It's my understanding that you do not need that new style longer catch for an USP with LEM as long as you have the newer style LEM hammer with the notch (which every kit comes with nowadays).

This post was where I got my info from.

New style LEM hammer + old style shorter catch = Good.
Old style LEM hammer with old shorter catch = BAD.
New style LEM hammer with new longer catch = Good.
