Getting more comfortable with my HK45

Went to the indoor range this afternoon determined to work on getting better with my HK45.

Put 100 230gr. White Box and 20 230gr. Federal HST +P JHPs downrange. (All I had time for...) I shot at silhouette targets at distances between 21 and 35 ft. (approx).

The pistol ran as reliably as it always does of course, really the best thing about it, however I am getting my groups tighter, if still towards the three o'clock of POA. I'm assuming this is an issue with my grip. (hanging on too tight I think).

Still, that silhouette bad guy's vitals were suitably ventilated, I am growing more confident in my ability with the HK now. I wish my 58 year old eyes were more cooperative in this process, but they are what they are.

Would the Heine sights be better?

Oh, one more thing. Those +P HSTs are pretty darn zippy. Also pretty darned accurate as well.

Took me about 500 rounds to get the trigger down on HK's.

I had one of those ahhhh-HAAAA moments with my trigger finger and grip and those groups tightened up real nice.
Although my cousin then took the pistol, never shot it before, and put a grouping just as good as mine right off the bat and well I thought shit.
