Never seen a SK but had a p2000 and liked the feel very much... Is the SK small than a glock 23?? in between a 23 and 27??? Trying to get s good idea of size of it.

So with the standard mags would the average size hang off the bottom...??
thanks alot..

The bottom picture shows a P2K magazine fully inserted into the SK. It sticks out just enough for my pinky to fit.

My friend has a SK in 9mm that I have shpt on a few occassions.
I enjoyed it so much that I might get one for a edc and even as a weekly range toy. It falls into the inbetween size of a subcompact and midsize, if there is a size placement. There is just something about it that when you hold and shoot you get the feeling that yeah I can can conceal this anywhere and yes I can control this gun firing without a problem. Near perfect ccw gun IMO

I'm considering an SK at some point myself, but would like to see it compared size wise to a Walther PPS, which is also on my list for CCW.

Currently there are exactly none of either around here to fondle for the sake of evaluation.

Kind of hard without trying or fondling them... especially nobody around me carryies them.. I had the p2000 loved that gun.. should have kept it...... had one in 40 and one in 9..

thinking of just getting another...

Thank you sir. I would appreciate it. I used to own a PPK so I have a frame of reference there.

Nice side by side.

I think a P2000sk in 9mm may be on my list, but it is definately the smallest I would go ever. That and a G26, I hat smaller guns, I can't shoot them well. And the SK is almost too small for me. But I wouldn't mind owning one, time will tell.

P2000_SK vs Walther PPK

H&K_.40cal Walther PPK_ .380specail

H&K_9 rounds Walther PPK_ 6 rounds

The P200SK feels better and I can shot it ALOT better. It's my main carry gun But for summer carry I sometimes go with the Walther because it is smaller.

Sorry no glocks for reffernce, I don't have any.

I wonder how the SK2000 does with ankle carry? I'm doing construction and would like a carry piece at work and a IWB just would not work with the tool belt.

My P2000SK in .40S&W is my EDC and is a very smooth, accurate pistol. The workmanship is outstanding.

My P2000SK 9mm is easily my favorite carry gun.

Accurate, extremely reliable, concealable, built like a frigging tank.

Everything I want in a carry gun and to me, fits my hand MUCH better than a G26.

From the beginning of the vid through the 3:05 mark, he discusses actual dimensional measurements. After that, he discusses impressions between the two.

I know this thread is about the size of the P2000_SK
But we recently had this thread regading its reliablity.

So, what's the going rate for a P2000sk?

I see a shop 25 miles from here has 2 of them in stock for $825 each.

I looked at the P2000 and the P2000SK and went with the P2000. I have average sized hands and the SK wasn't as comfortable. I carry in a 5.11 Select Carry Pistol Pouch (which I highly recommend) so size isn't so much of a consideration. It's a hell of a nice gun - no issues with it whatsoever.

I guess if I was carrying ITW I might go for the SK.

I paid $820.00 for mine about a year ago. That's a very decent price, IMO.

I shot both at a rental gun range,.......preferred the P2000 over the SK.
It's kind of like a G19 vs G26.

I debated P2000 or SK for quite some time. Since I already had a Kahr P9 for my primary carry gun, I went with the P2000. So far I am very pleased. I have heard P30 magswill fit. Is this correct? Will the X grip work in that regard?

The P2sk and the Kahr CW9 are basically the same size with the Kahr being thinner.
I have small hands and the P2sk mag gets hung up on the palm of my hand when ejecting the mags,
especially with the full size mags with gap filler.

With That said, there is no other handgun I would rather carry.
I've owned and carried, G27, steyr m.40, Rugers, USPC.40 and a couple others.
Currently experimenting with CW9 but not real happy with it.

I carry mine with the extended mag. I found the grip is too small for my hand, with the extended mag it's perfect. I have trouble drawing in a hurry with the normal mags because there is just not enough to grab.

Have you thought about adding the larger back strap on the gun?
Also you may want to look at this

I am already using the X-Grip with the extended mag. The issue (for me at least) is not the diameter of the grip, rather the length. The extended mag makes it fit perfectly in my hands.

I have one huge gripe about my SK. IT FUCKING RATTLES. The slide release on the right side is very loose, and was loose the first day I got the gun. I have learned to deal with it but in the back of my mind its very very annoying for such a great gun. No it has never malfunctioned.

I think "rattle" is a bit extreme, but yeah, the slide release on the right side is a little loose.

My P2000SK does not rattle, but the right side release is a little loose which can be wiggled..

You can put a small piece of loop(soft side) velcro under the noisy side, cut hole for axle.
Makes it vewy vewy quiet!

Well I fondled a P2000sk at the fun show today.

Far larger than I imagined or hoped.

I guess it's back to considering the Walther PPS again.

Wrap a piece of black electrical tape around the right hand lever and you'll forget that was even an issue.

I've got a P30 and I wish I had bought either a P2000 or -sk for carry. I've got a SIG P232SL that's great to carry, but I'd rather have something in 9-40-45 than .380
