Devgru and CAG bought 450 of these at the begining of the year.

They are left overs from a devgru order, HK made x-amount over as a precaution and are now selling the left overs to the general populace.
It has night sights, threaded barrel and 2 ten round mags for about ~$100 more.

Yup what he said. They offer two trigger packs, one DA/SA with safety, and one DA/SA without safety for more money.

Cant wait to get it, what is the thread pitch on it so i can order the ASAP piston for my EVO 45 can

Ok, but from where? Or are you just saying they are making their way out to different gun dealers across our great nation?

The Armory on Pima in Tucson. I should have it late next week.

The HK45C was tested and selected by DEVGRU. The white or 'standard' SEAL teams are starting to recieve the HK45C's also. They are issued with an AAC Ti-Rant S can, CTC IR laser, standard height night sights, a mix of 8 & 10rd mags and a LBT holster. AFAIK, the HK45C is a NSW thing, and CAG is still using G22's.

ETA... A SEAL told me that their 45C's are DA/SA V3 (decocker only). He also stated that the DA trigger on them is still a beast compared to their P226's, despite HK giving the NSW guns a little more "TLC."

There is a pic of a Delta weapon case floating around on the net with a HK416, HK MP7, SigP226R, and HK45CT.

Any recommendations for a IWB holster.

Sorry, but that box of goodies belongs to a DEVGRU operator, not Delta.

Everything in this pic is standard issue to a DEVGRU assaulter. Oh, you missed the SIG P239 (also issued at NSW) in there too. To my knowledge, Delta has never issued P226R's, P239's or HK45C's. Also, Delta tends to use Surefire cans, not AAC's that are pictured and issued (for the 416 & 45C) at DEVGRU.

If it's a factory HK barrel I believe it would be 16X1L
like this one

There's one in the picture above your post... they're black.

Is the magazine single-stack, or double?

They are neither single nor double stack, they are what I'd call a 1.5. I own two HK45c's and absolutely love them!!! The size compares equally with a G19 with 8+1 of .45 ACP in a package that will run and run.

Played w/ one a couple weeks ago. Very nice. Felt good in my hand...and love the grip. Much better than the spidey grips on my P30.

Do these come with the LEM trigger? I haven't read much about the CT's.

It's snappier then the p220 but I expected that but it's a great gun.

So this thread has me confused. I can not seem to find a HK45CT. I can find a HK USP CT, and a HK45C with two ten round mags, night sights, decocker only, one extra back strap, and a threaded barrel. Is there another option?

It was a limited run for U.S. Special Forces that HK had left over hk45ct's that it sold to the general public.
In general it is not labeled as hk45ct but would be a general hk45c with an added threaded barrel and other goodies from the factory saving the end user a couple hundred bucks.

*Beaten by a minute*

AFAIK the HK45CT does not officially exist as a marked model (as in the slide). It comes as you described - an HK45C with the upgrades. I handled one at my local gun shop today. I'll probably go back and pick it up tomorrow... you guys got me all excited.

As I posted earlier in the thread, I finger fucked one a while back and really want one. Thing is the price tag is a bit much right now. Not that I see it coming down in price any but I'm not willing to dish out that kind of coin right now.

W/ that said, technically it's official b/c H&K is selling/marketing them as Compact Tacticals, just wish H&K would engrave CT or something on the slides like they did with the USP's. Would be too easy to shoot an HK45 compact for awhile, throw in a new barrel and LEM, etc down the road and say it's a NIB Compact Tactical. Which in the elusive world of H&K's, I can see happening with sellers trying to pull this.

Good to know about it being official. I wonder if they will ever do what you've mentioned - sell CT models marked as such.

I just went down to the gunshop and picked one up. It is HK part number #HK745033TA5. I paid $1099 for it. I have a AAC Ti Rant 45 that has become my favorite shooter, but this one will grow on me, it feels really good in the hand. My little bag with the fired case has a date of 7/15/2009, so this sweet little pistol has been sitting around somewhere for awhile.

Pics and range report will come eventually.

And I just put one on lay away... very awesome pistol. Anyone know what the story is with the HK45CT being American or German production? The one I've got isn't DE proofed so I'm under the impression it's an American made version.

It would be American made. HK made the transition from German manufacturing to stateside production for the newer .45;
Though I have not seen first hand from what I have heard there is zero difference in quality.

I've had my 45ct for a little over a month now and have about 1000 rounds through it.

I put ambi's on it (I'm left handed) and sent it off to Gray Guns for their Reduced Reset Carry Package. It's a good gun, but I like my USPc better.

Just picked up a Gray Guns P30 and the same Meps that are on the 45ct to run in 3gun and USPSA Production Class. Looking at getting the threaded barrel from HKParts.net and then play with them side-by-side

My understanding is the occasional need for concealed carry. Both have 10 round magazines.
