Apex Tactical trigger job on USP

My USP 40F is the first pistol I ever bought. I love it, but the trigger is pretty crummy. I have used several of the Apex Tactical parts for the M&P and my M&P45 is one of my favorite pistols to shoot. They have a USP package for $250 and I was wondering if anyone has had it performed on their gun.

What say ye?

Sounds pricey.

I had a HK Match Trigger installed into my USP45 Fullsize along with Bill Springfields excellent trigger job for less than $100.

Go with the HK match trigger. I've had both my USP9 and USP40 converted so they now have the same trigger group as my USP .45 Tactical. Love it.

The Match Trigger is amazing.

How does one get info on a Bill Springfield job? What all does it do? I wouldn't mind a trigger job done on my USP45 Tactical.

Skip the Springfield job, he may screw up your trigger as he has done many times in the past.

OP- Go with the HK match trigger, much better than the factory trigger.

My USP40f received a HK match trigger implant as did my USP9f. Now they both have the same trigger group as my beloved HK USP.45 Tactical. The HK match trigger has a really nice SA pull to it. I have no need to leave HK in order to find a better trigger. Going from one pistol to the next is never a matter of getting used to a new trigger feel. It has improved my shot consistency just by having the right trigger feel from gun to gun. Unlike a lot of HK shooters I have all my HK work done by a local HK armorer. I learned years ago that I'm no gunsmith. JMHO

He didn't screw up the trigger on my USP45f. As I said, he did install the HK Match Trigger in addition to his trigger job which involved some polishing and tweaking.

Bill Springfield Trigger Work

The HK Match Trigger is much improved over the factory one and I'll be sending my 2nd USP45f to have him do the same to it.

Bill Springfield is nothing more than shadetree mechanic, use at your own risk if you like replacing your internals when the firearm malfunctions due to his work.

Personally I am a big fan of the LEM trigger.

Personally I am a big fan of the LEM trigger.

The more I read about the LEM, the more I am interested in it. I played with a Para LDA several years ago and was really impressed. The only thing about the LEM kit that makes me nervous is the reports of the difficulty of getting the trigger spring back in (I think). Anyone have any experience or tips on this or am I better off just sending it to HK?

I have USP 40 and want to change the trigger too, but I don't know which is better the match or LEM. If anyone have experience and tell me wich is better Or any older post that address these comparison between both options? Thanks.

I'm probably just going to send mine to HK, though I'm sure if I read the instructions it's pretty easy.

The trigger spring can be a little tricky but I bought a small crochet needle that I use to hook the spring with.
