I picked one up from a buddy of mine earlier today for $300.00. It needs a good cleaning, but all in all everything looks good. He has had it for years and said he had no use for it and that he wanted $300.00, and I thought hell for $300 its worth having a colt 380 that looks like a 1911. I did not know at the time that they seem to be worth nearly double that. I called him and told him that I looked up the price and that I did not think $300 was fair, but he told me he only paid $250 for it and that he did'nt mind that he sold it to me. Sooooo I got a new gun today for what I think is a great price, just needs to be cleaned up, oiled and function tested.

That is a great price, now....where are the pics?!
Looks to be in great condition! Make sure to buy some recoil springs and mags for it, oh and lots of ammo too.

Nice, I want one.
I think a Colt Mustang and a PPK/S would make for a classy pair of .380s.
I cleaned it this weekend and boy was it dirty, it cleaned up nicely though. I am taking it to the range this weekend to see how it shoots.

Colt 380s may look like a min-1911s, but they are only like 90%. The ejector mechanism is not the same. If you push the ejector down too far the mag well, you have to depress the trigger return spring in order to reset it.
I just got mine today. Found it sitting in a used gun case at gander mountain. Came w 6 magazines all colt. I can't believe someone traded this little beauty in. Its one solid gun. Got mine for 449. Its a mark IV series 80. Look them up they are worth up to 800
Very nice. I bought a 99% 380 Government model (no papers or box though) last year for $500 and thought I did well.
