I don't have an answer for you but mine do that too. I normally don't notice it and I've never had any issues with them.

Tap the floorplate on a table once or twice. This is because Walther changed the spring when they went from a 16 round magazine to a 15 round magazine. The original 16 round magazines and the S&W labeled 16 rounders do not rattle.

It is what it is.

Not slap the shit out of them from all angles, but tap the magazine floorplate on a table a couple of times. Most of the time it works, but sometimes it does not.

While I have had few other magazines do this, this issue has come up with a couple of my Hi-Power mags and on 17 round Beretta 92 MecGar I had.

The P-99 is a great carry piece and I think you are overthinking this.

My Glock mags rattle sometimes too. They still function 100%.

Almost all double stack mags will do this. Not all the time, and not with every mag, but it's pretty common across brands.

My 15rd mags will do that, but my single 16 rounder is silent. Damn jingle bells.

Seen it in Beretta, Smith, Glock, and SIG.
