What's a good price for a used Taurus 1911?
Hey guys, I posted this in the 1911 section with limited response, some from haters.
A guy at work has a SS 1911 he hates because it shoots low in his eyes. What is a good price to offer for it? He does not have the kind with the light rail.
I wouldnt pay over 350 for it

If it helps, check sites like GunBroker and GunsAmerica to see what they are goin for used. The bottom line is that a good price is what you are willing to pay for it. Let the haters say what they will. The guns are selling new for about $650, to listen to the "experts" in the forums tell you it's worth half that because it's used is foolish, though what a great price if it's do-able.
just saw one in the local trader blued asking price was 450.
I figure if he hates it so much he'll be glad to get rid of it.
