I tried Century bird shot, and Silver Bear Slugs today. Both were a HUGE pain in the ass to get out of the cylinder. The Century rounds stopped the cylinder from turning, so basically it was a one shot.

Some other guy was posting recently saying his 3" basically wasn't much good past 10 feet I believe. Please post your own results. He was intending to use his as a snake gun but because of the rifling the pattern was horrible.

A buddy was shoooting Remington through his and didn't seem to have any issues. I didn't pay enough attention to tell you exactly which flavor of Remington though.

I prefer Winchester for mine, you want something with a thick hull, so it doesn't expand in the cylinder and get stuck, I originally bought some cheap off brand bird shot and had the same problem, so I finished using it in my 410 break action it will shoot anything, The judge is picky it needs good quality ammo, Remington that I had also seems to work, but the best I have found is the Winchester extra strength hull 410 bird shot. As far as the range the shot spreads out so fast it is really worthless past 10-15ft.
