Opinions on DeSantis Intruder IWB holster?

Hoping to get some input from those of you who have used the DeSantis Intruder to get your thoughts on it. I have both a CrossBreed SuperTuck and a Tommy Theis IWB for a couple other pistols I have/carry, but with the somewhat recent acquisition of a S&W M&P 9c I find myself in the market for a new holster. Midway has the DeSantis on sale this month, and if it is comparable in quality and comfort to the others, I certainly don't mind spending 1/2 as much (or less). If anyone has one in their holster box/drawer that they no longer need and want to send it to me for a test drive, I wouldn't say no.

I have two of them, one for my Glock 19 and one for my S&W 442. I am happy with the holsters and would not hesitate to buy another one if I needed to, but there are a couple little things that I would like to see changed. On both holsters I had to hit the area around the trigger with a blow dryer and push it in just a touch to increase the retention to my liking. Nothing too serious there, but I just like a little firmer hold. The second, which completely baffles me, is the holster is designed as a CCW, and tuckable, but both clops have a huge Desantis logo on them, with HOLSTER.COM spelled out plain as day. So instead of two plain black plastic clips you get to clips that advertise a holster. Granted they are not going to be read from across a room, but if you were in an elevator or in line at a store, pretty sure they would be visible.

I'm carrying an M&P9c in one as I type this, and have been wearing it almost daily for the past two months. Overall, my experiences are very similar to onesureshot's. When it was new, it could've used a bit more retention, but as it has broken in, the leather has formed to the gun and retention has improved. I'm not sure which one of us got the "current" model, but my clips are smooth with no logo or lettering. They are rather large though, and I don't think I'd even bother trying to tuck until the clips have been swapped out for something less obtrusive. All in all though, it's a very comfortable holster, conceals well, and was pretty cheap compared to similar models from other companies. I managed to pick mine up for about $45 shipped from a dealer on that well-known auction site.

The clips alone tell the story! Not the logo !

I dont get this tucking craze at all.

Probably so, but I think there are enough sheeple out there that wouldn't have a clue what the clips were, unless of course the have a big HOLSTER.COM billboard on them, lol.

I am not a tucker either. I can't carry on duty, and if I am not working the chances of me wearing something tucked in are slim to none.
