Hello Handgun forum night crew....
So I'm in the process condemning myself to the dollar menu buying accessories for my new addition(while im still waiting for it to be shipped

):
Sig P226 MK25
Like the title suggests I'm putting the x400 on there and am looking to put the DG switch on there. The scary part is I dont know which adapter to use! On the Surefire website under
DG Grip Switch they talk about needing one of two adapters:
MR14A and
MR14B
Any ideas on which one? Sure I could just wait and check the serial number/ measure the trigger guard like Sig says to... But I figured I could take this question that has answered almost everything I could ask, plus, wheres the fun in waiting?

You dont need an adapter since the pistol has a rail. It'll mount directly to the pistol. The adapters Surefire makes are for weapons made without integral rails like some 1911s and older model Sigs.
The switch you should get i s the DG 22 (For 226R), The 'R' idicates a 226 with Rail. Older Sigs didnt have integral rails, hence why Surefire manufactured the rail adapter.
Hope this helps.
Should have known that....
Thanks for the info though!

I checked the website and DG-22 is designated for the 229- DG-14 says for 226R, thats the one i need right?

Thank you very much for the help; and taking the time back to say that!
Ordered on off Optics planet cause it was on sale, then they send an email that they were out of stock :(
I still have a pending order from 2008 with them for a Surefire Helmet light MOLLE mount.
Hopefully your stuff actually comes back IN stock.
