Broke my Raven Concealment Holster
Received my custom holster for my M&P and x300 in April of 2011. Took it off today and noticed about a 2.5"-3" break in the inside side of holster between gun and the c clip. Anyone know of a way of stopping this from spreading or fixing it? I shot off an email to see what they said but didn't know if anyone knew about how to fix it? Thanks!
Call them up. They replaced mine with thicker material and it only took a week or so.

Drill a hole at the end of the crack.
Email them theyll fix it. I am on my 3rd, this one is finally made of the thicker material so hopefully it wont do it again.

I'd love to see pics of the crack before you send it back. Thanks!

This is why I buy Raven holsters!
I have three with one on order.
I've got a few Ravens too and I love them, but I sure wouldn't want one to break on me in the middle of an altercation. Warranty is not helping you then.
Well I received my replacement yesterday... it took approximately 4 weeks from me emailing them to get the warranty work started (directed needed to follow) to receiving a new one.
It appears that the Kydex used on the replacement is a little thicker and thus not as "detailed" as the first one (maybe it is just the individuality. Anyways here are the pics of the replacement... with my M&P...

The kydex IS thicker. Although my warranties only took 3 weeks for the first and 2 for the second. I also wasn't real happy about how my newest one didn't have the body shield or whatever they call it on it, but I have gotten used to it.

Good looking set-up there! I just find the Phantoms to be too much of a stiff solid piece of rigidity to be comfortable IWB. If that works for you, that's a great carry rig!

I'd have to agree with you. I even think the C-tacs are uncomfortable. I like to have leather if it's touching my skin. Used as an OWB they can conceal pretty nicely. A friend of mine wears a G27 in one, and it'll disappear under a t-shirt.

EFB16ACRX-
If your original holster had a full body shield, but your warranty replacement did not, we may have made a mistake in production. Your warranty replacement should have had the same configuration as your original holster. Please email me at gearinfo@ravenconcealment.com and we'll get this all worked out. My apologies for the mix-up.
99% of the time I have no problem with the holster as far as being comfortable... Sometimes it does seem to dick into my thigh but other than that I have no complaints. Love having my x300 attached and ready to go...
Have numerous holsters and by far my favorite is the Raven. Great customer service too!
I've had great service by Raven also. Glad to hear they took care of you. So far so good. No cracks like you mentioned. Not many IWB kydex holsters that can accomodate a weaponlight and wear comfortably, but I found the Light Phantom comfortable.
