Anybody still use the Surefire P 10 light?

I purchased a Surefire P 10 handgun light years ago when they were pretty new on the market. Since then I sort of lost track on the advancements in handgun lights. Mine still works well, but I see after looking at some websites tonight that mine is getting to look a little bit like a dinosaur compared to some of the newer models. Should I consider upgrading? Are the newer lights on the market much better?

Try using an LED drop-in. I have never owned a P10, so I do not know if it has a shock isolated bezel and if you would need a spring in the head for the drop-in to make contact.

Yes, going to LED would be a huge upgrade.

I recently made the switch from incandescent to LED weaponlights myself. I used to have a P10 and the newer surefires blow the old ones out of the water. Brightness, battery life and shock resistance can't be beat. All that plus universal mounting and a small size makes the choice an easy one.
