 BHP Holsters

I'm considering competing in USPSA. I've never had a holster for my handguns. I would likely start by using my BHP.

Since I can't get a concealed permit here, I don't really need an IWB holster. But I would like a quality leather OWB holster than can double for USPSA and carry (for camping, etc.). There's a ton out there, and being 'new' at competitive shooting, I really don't need to fork over the big bucks for a fancy rig for competition. I'm willing to sacrifice speed and/or efficiency for a holtster that will suffice for my dual purposes. Dollars aren't a huge concern here. Just quality and usefulness.

Any suggestions?

I used to use one of these for daily carry for my 1911 and some informal competition now and then.

I have been really pleased with one of these for a BHP and it may fit your needs: Simply Rugged Holsters

If you prefer a high-ride holster that gets the BHP up about as far as is advised, the Upper Limit by Mitch Rosen is a comfortable, high-quality holster that I use all the time for not much more money. Page down here under Products, then down to Upper Limit: Mitch Rosen Upper Limit

Thanks for the suggestions. I will definitely look into those.

Any other ideas out there?

Got a few of his holsters.
All are great quality and you can't beat the price.
