Serpa magazine holder
I did a quick google and nothing came up.
Does Blackhawk make a serpa mag holder that that uses the release button similar to the holsters?
Since when I reach for my spare, my index finger runs along side the holder, I thought it would be a good retention for open top holders, but still quick to release. ( I have a bianchi open top and no issues with mags falling out, just thinking of ideas)
To my knowledge, no.
Because there's probably not much of a market when you think it through.
Mechanical retention firearm holsters are not so much to keep the weapon from falling out on its own, as friction retention adjustments can do that.
A holster like the Serpa is targeted towards someone who feels in up close and personal battle, their firearm might be grabbed out of the holster and used against them.
Mags, not so much.
No the blackhawk mag holders are just plastic with a snap tab that pulls over
