Im not sure which case slider is on my lee 1000. it works for 9mm but seems a bit large in the cutout where the case rests.
a .45 case seems like its a better fit.

does anyone have dimensions or info on how i can tell the difference ?
need to order a slider and dont want to get the same one i already have.. lol

I've had very good luck talking to the people at Lee. I don't have a 1000, but I've called them several times over the years with questions about my Loadmaster and other Lee products and they've been friendly and helpful.

That being said, I don't know if the case sliders on my Loadmaster are the same as on your 1000 but there are only two sizes for mine, large and small, and the difference is in the height, not the circular cut the shell sits in. I've bought extras and modified them, the .40 S&W was the one that needed the most tweaking to get to work they way I wanted it to.

Thanks for the advice!, I was able to find a youtube video of someone reloading .45 on the lee 1000 and noticed the slider was flush with the height of .45 shell
ergo i have the small and ordered the large

while researching i also read the slider is the same for 9mm & .40 however the z-bar must be bent to work with the .40+ or order the different z-bar for larger cases (on the lee 1000)
