But how well do they conceal?

I have one for my full-size Springfield LW Operator (minus the light). It rides high and tight. Conceals fine under an untucked polo shirt for me. To be honest, it's a little higher than I personally like, but it didn't flop or anything.

I'm currently waiting on some Comp-Tac clips so I can convert it to a lower-riding IWB. I whipped up a couple clips myself and set it so the tops of the clips were even with the top edge of the holster. Tried it out briefly, and it felt really nice. Unfortunately, the thickest kydex I currently have is .093 which I feel is too thin for belt clips.

How long did it take to get your holster once you placed your order?

1 week,

It definitely rides nice and tight against body.

I personally did not buy this particular holster for concealment. I have a DeSantis Intruder IWB for that. This is a holster to accommodate my x300 for a TAC class I have coming up.

I just ordered one of these yesterday after seeing their facebook and youtube links in one of their eBay ads. I'd been looking at a Raven but the 16-18 week turnaround was a dealbreaker. Chatted with Bravo via email, got a 5-day turnaround quote (from ordering to shipping) and a price of less than the Raven. I'm going to give it a shot.

I got mine today.
It's very well made, it fits well, shipping was fast, communication was perfect. Definitely a good deal in my opinion.

I know this topic hasn't been active for a few days, but can anyone tell me the width of the belt loops?

Default is 1.5", I ordered mine with 1.75" to fit my belt. I'm sure they'll do any size you ask for, bigger or smaller.

Thanks. I already ordered mine, but forgot to ask. I'm on day 4 since ordering, and I'm already anxious about getting it...

Got my Bravo Concealment Holster today. Here are some pictures:

Overall, I like it. A few minor things I'm not so fond of (blue gun material that is molded into the gun outline : /)

Sorry about bluegun print. We're working that out. Seems that the Coyote Brown kydex needs to be heated up more because of its .093 thickness which in turn heats up bluegun more than usual. This is why we see more of this on Coyote Brown. Email me with any concerns at: bravoconcealment@aol.com Thanks for your post.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the holster. The blue gun material is only on the inside, and doesn't affect function at all. Like I said, I bought this to use, so it's going to get bet up and worn in, so looks aren't a high priority.

I needed a new holster for IDPA so I took a chance on Bravo Concealment. I ordered mine online and 12 days later, it was in my hands. 12 days, not 12 weeks or 12 months. That's service and the product is top notch.

Have been wearing mine for the last month or so and love it. Conceals well even under a t shirt and is comfortable. I had to change where I carried my g19 from 4 o'clock to 2 o'clock with this new holster. Works great though.

Got my order promptly. Glock and AR pouches, Glock holster and Glock x300 holster. All in OD green (.08 thickness).

Pros:
Straightforward ordering.
Quick customer service response.
Good value.
Good delivery time.
Product seems very tough by virtue of the thicker kydex. Belt loops are the thickest material I've seen used.
Glock holster (no light) has good retention
Both holsters are undercut for full firing grip.
Mag pouches have good retention
Flared opening on the Glock x300 holster makes inserting easy.

Cons:
Hex head screws! I should have noticed that. No thread locker. I'll be replacing them all with the standard phillips head screws and loctiting them down.

Pmag pouch is shallow. Mag sits very high, wants to tilt outboard with loaded mags.

The curve of the holster is not as well executed as the Raven.

Retention on the Glock x300 holster is insufficient. Customer Service is sending a return envelope so it can be tweaked.

I have one of the holsters on order for my M&P9/X300. Also ordered two magazine pouches. My order was placed around the 10th of September so it should arrive soon. I'll post a pic or two and my initial thoughts once it arrives.

I kept my bravo for a few weeks before I decided to dump it.

It was built like a damn tank but I didn think the retention was enough. I felt the gun would come out under any hard use. Just jumping up and down I could feel the pistol shift up/down in the holster. The mag holder retention is just fine so I kept them.

Only other issues was with the iwb loops I got from them wouldn't allow proper draw without digging my finger into the sharp/thin kydex loops. Also rust built up a few times a week on the hex heads. Never encountered this before on other kydex Holsters.

You should call them or something, it might be defective. Mine has great retention. I can have the gun with a mag in it and turn the holster upside down and shake it and still can't get it to fall out.

Yeah, they should be able to fix that holster retention thing pretty easily, or tell you how to do it yourself. Takes about two minutes and a hair dryer for me, but I'd call them in case they have some kind of warranty thing about that.

They sent me a pre-paid envelope to return my X300 holster for additional retention. Very classy.

The normal holster retention is very good but I'll be wearing it while deer hunting so I'm temporarily adding a "thumb break" via bungee cord and some webbing.

Got my x300 holster back from Bravo. Fast turnaround, and retention is perfect now. Great communication –– sent me videos of the retention changes being made & tested.

I received my Bravo Concealment M&P9/X300 holster and mag pouches today and I'm very impressed so far. Retention on magazines is perfect for my use. Retention on the pistol/light is great though a bit tighter than I prefer. The folks at Bravo Concealment have been super responsive in answering questions and providing support. I was provided with clear instructions (with a detailed picture) for how to adjust retention. They also offered to send postage paid return packaging to have Bravo tweak it for me. I'm comfortable following the provided instructions and frankly like the option to adjust retention to my preference. I'll post pics later this week. Great product, quick turnaround from order to delivery, and fantastic service! Color me happy!!

ETA: Following the detailed instructions provided to me by Bravo Concealment I was able to adjust retention to my preference. The task was simple / easy to do and it took me no more than 1 minute to complete. I'd like to reiterate just how fantastic my experience has been with Bravo Concealment. I'll be doing business with them again in the future.

I'll try to post pics this evening.

How do you adjust the retention? A tiny bit less would be nice.

Using a hair dryer to gradually heat a specific area on the back side of the holster - the area used to set retention on my specific configuration. You'd want to ask Bravo Concealment where that is in your holster - it was not where I thought it would be. Once you know where to apply heat you set a hai rr dryer on high heat then, at about 2" away from the surface to be heated, apply heat for two seconds then move heat for four seconds, heat for two s foreconds then move away from holster, on holster for two seconds... Do this for about 10th seconds or so and you'll see the heated area rise or expand just a little (very subtle change). Careful not to overheat the kydex or you'll 'burn' it (as I understand the texture smoothes if overheated or burned - there nay be other issues caused by applying too much heat, I don't know for sure). Just follow the instructions above and apply this heat to whatever area Bravo Concealment indicates is used to set retention on your holster and retention will lessen slightly.

I would suggest verifying these instructions when you inquire about what area you apply heat to just to be certain. Once verified you'll find the task to be very simple and straightforward.

I ordered a black non-light holster for a Glock 19 in the thinner kydex and am very impressed. I also purchased a mag pouch. I found that when wearing the holster and pouch they make my waist line thick enough that it is obvious that I have something under my shirt, though not necessarily a gun and spare mag. With just the gun I don't think it prints at all. I'm 5'10, 245 and slightly thicker in the chest than waist.

These pancake style holsters all look essentially the same. The first popular ones out there were made by Raven Concealment, so by default, everyone else MUST be copying them.

Raven Concealment, Bravo Concealment, Secret City Weaponeers, NTAC, DSG Arms Alpha, etc... are all basically the same product. There are also a ton of people making these in their homes.

I've even been thinking of picking up the stuff to make these type of holsters and sheaths in small quantities for my own use. They seem relatively easy to make, the per holster material cost is something like $15, and the initial tooling cost for low volume is pretty cheap.
