Silver bear 145 gr HP
Anyone shoot this ammo? Is it worth buying?
As suppressor or general plinking fodder? Absolutely.
As a functional hollow point? Nope.
It is very weak/underpowered in my experience. It turns my G17/Multimount into a single shot. I chrono'd it at about 830 fps from the 5" barrel on the Glock. It does work fine in the gun unsuppressed.
It also seems to work well in my 10.5" AR, and is very quiet suppressed. However, I've only shot about 25 rds of it through that gun so far, and haven't obtained a velocity reading yet.
