 Info? On 1943 45acp with pic

My grandmother dropped off three boxes of this today, after finding out that I was reloading. This is some ammo my grandfather had.

This ammo is 45 acp with a head stamp of 43!

Is it worth anything? Worthy of shooting? Selling? Donate to WWII museum?
Not sure what I should do with 70 year old ammo

Also have some .22 hornet military "survival" ammo still in sealed boxes. Pics soon

If its headstamped 43, it's probably got corrosive primers. I don't think they started producing non-corrosive 45acp until the early 1950s.

definately corrosive primed and steel cased. No real collector value. They made these by the tens of millions. No huge demand for the .22 hornet either unfortunately.
