It appears that current
Wolf-imported "WPA" 9mm ammo as of 2011 has been made by
Barnaul (old Factory 17) in Russia. My question is how is the the steel-case finished, still using "polymer" or some kind of plastic? Or is it copper-washed or old-school Russian paint, ala Brown Bear (also made by Barnaul, just a different importer)? Do they bother to seal the case-mouth or primer at all for this cheap ammo?
How does this "WPA" seem to work for the hive, reliable for plinking and practice? I haven't purchased steel-cased Russian-made 9mm Para ammo in over a decade. It appears the Wolf-brand"WPA" is at least in stock at the moment. Thanks!

Interested as well.
it was pretty inaccurate in my XD, but it all went bang.
I had a misfire out of the 100rds I shot recently. Seems to be a few in every case. Good primer hit, no bang. Loaded it again and it shot fine. Gun was a 2011 G19 all stock.
Very accurate and reliable in my Glocks and MP.

Accuracy is OK for plinking and training. Maybe a little dirtier than average but no big deal.
I shoot it's sister TULA out of both my G17/19 and it's beautiful especially for the money..............Have'nt experienced a problem yet and have stocked a good bit for future play/go to. Seemed pretty accurate for me as I'm no sharp shooter but groups were descent.
What kind of prices are you guys paying for WPA? I can pick up brass cased federal value-pack from Walmart for $19.97 which is pennies more than what I pay for 2 boxes of WPA 9mm locally

I paid $9.95 a box of 50 for tula 9mm a few weeks ago at walmart. They dont carry the WPA ammo at walmart, but the tula is cheaper than either the fed or WWB ammo.
