So how often does this happen?

I've shot a lot of factory ammo in my life, but this is the first time I've seen someone put a primer in sideways. This might sound like an ignorant question, but how often does stuff like this happen?

It happens to me about once every 300-400 rounds, easier with my 9mm than the .308 or .223. Some times the shell isn't centered when I go to pu the primer in, and bingos, goes in side ways

I see it every three to four hundred rounds. It does`not upset me since I steal my ammo from traderjac.

I knew it was an R-P headstamp before I even saw the pic load.

Happens from time to time with every manufacturer's ammo, as well as all sorts of other stuff such as off center bullet seating that bends cases, primers backwards, no primer at all, bullets in backiwards, etc. etc. I used to have a collection of maybe 30-40 such rounds to show our Deputies why you ALWAYS visually check every round as you load your magazines / speed loaders.

Can happen with any manufacturers ammo....some more than others.
