How accurate and clean is it and does the small primer cause any problems for you?

I'm taking a houseguest who has never shot before to the range and I'm going to need a lot of blasting ammo.

Does the Champion compare favorably to stuff like WWB or PMC Bronze?

Thanks.

All the walmart federal stuff has always gone bang for me. Accuracy/cleanliness within normal limits, as they say. Maybe a bit on the weak side but the slide always cycles.

It will be fine for a newbie, it will go bang. Just make sure that you have the target close and stand nearby when they shoot, in case the gun has more kick than they are anticipating.

My experience also, in an M&P45 fullsize.

It's been GTG in my FNP-45, HK45, Springfield GI, and S&W 22 Thunder Ranch.

I think it's cleaner than WWB.

In my experience, is as accurate as WWB, and any other plinking line ammunition. Cleaner IMO than WWB also.

I averaged a whopping 3fps faster with 230gr FC .45ACP compared to 230gr .45ACP WWB. The small pistol primers are of no issue. If the box is on the smaller side that's generally a good indication that they are the small pistol primers (I have the UPC but can't remember it off hand)
