How do you remove the firing pin and safety from a Smith and Wesson 910 /915? It appears the it requires removal of the safety, but that is where I am stuck. Please help!

I can't remember if the decocker on these are single sided or ambidextrous. If ambi, there is a pin hole for a retention plunger in the right side decocker lever. Push this in with a pin punch, and slide the lever out of its dovetail. Once the right side lever is removed, you press the firing pin safety plunger, and push the firing pin in as far as you can with a pin punch. Once you have the firing pin held forward, you no longer have to depress the firing pin safety plunger. Then you can push/pull the decocker out of the slide. Be careful as there is a detent plunger and spring in the decocker body which can get lost.
