Hi Power Clone Safety Failure
The hammer drops on my new to me FM Hi Power whether the safety is on or off. What does the safety actuate in order to make the trigger not drop the hammer? It looks like someone polished the surfaces of the hammer and sear where they touch. I am wondering if they removed too much material, but being new to HP’s I don’t know how the safety is supposed to work in them and surprisingly I am unable to find a resource that clearly explains the functionality of the safety.
