Can't find certain 1911 thumb safety. Please help.

I'm looking for a source for the old-style 1911 small thumb safety that's not ambidextrous. I tried Brownells because they stock just about anything imaginable. But they just stock those awful ambi, extended versions.

I have a widebody Springfield Armory (the commercial manufacturer, not the gov't arsenal, of course) that I like very much but I want to replace the extended thumb safety with which it came. I hate the extended ones because they get in the way of easily engaging the slide release with the shooting hand. And, no, I don't rest my thumb on that safety when I shoot; so I just don' t need the big one.

I just want the small military-style thumb safety. I don't mind if it's the 1911A1 version, even though I'd prefer the original 1911 style.

Also, I'm going to purchase a stainless steel Para Ordnance widebody 1911, so I'm going to need a stainless steel version of the thumb safety, too if possible.

Thank you in advance for your help.

take your current safety off and grind it down until it is the size you want, throw some cold blue on it and call it a day
