M&P Shield sights swappable w/ M&P FS

Will sights from a full size M&P fit on a M&P Shield? I know the catalog shows aftermarket sights for the shield, but I am looking at a used set of tritium sights that are for the full size but are a great deal. Anyone with both want to check the fit?

Same dovetail cut, they are interchangeable.

Since the frame is narrower, won't the FS sights be a bit wider?

Yes they are a little wider but still looks good.

The rear sight will stick out a bit. I had the guy behind the counter measure when I was checking the Shield out.

Truglo TFO's work and are only about 2/64ths of an inch wider than the slide. Hardly noticeable unless you really look. I installed them on my pistol today and tried it at the range.
